"Quantitative effect of temperature on Equilibrium Constant by using Van't Hoff Equation"

"Quantitative effect of temperature on Equilibrium Constant by using Van't Hoff Equation"

Use the following equation to draw the relationship between temperature and equilibrium constant;

This equation (vi) is called Van’t Hoff equation or Van’t Hoff isochore. ΔH0 is the standard enthalpy change of chemical reaction. Right side of the reaction is the rate of change of equilibrium constant with respect to temperature. It means when temperature changes then equilibrium constant also changes. This rate of change depends on the enthalpy change of chemical reaction

Here, A is constant. According to this equation Value of Kp also increases, if ΔH0 is positive. If ΔH0 is negative, then, increase of temperature, decreases the Kp value.
